Pacific Salmon Foundation

Pacific Salmon Foundation began as a small organization with a clear vision and has now grown into the pre-eminent funding organization for salmon conservation in BC and the Yukon. However, the crisis facing salmon requires much more be done. Everyone can be part of the solution. We believe that given the passion and commitment from staff, board members, partners, donors, and a province-wide network of volunteers, PSF can approach the next twenty years with confidence. With the help of many we will continue to play an integral role in shaping a sustainable future for Pacific salmon.

Through a brand new partnership, Pacific Salmon Foundation and The Boathouse Restaurants have teamed up to help conserve and restore salmon. The partnership started with the Boathouse Restaurant's 2006 "Best of the West Coast Festival". While celebrating their 25th anniversary that year, The Boathouse Restaurants along with Calona Vineyards donated $1 from the sale of every Tyee Wine Flight during the festival to Pacific Salmon Foundation for the recovery of wild Pacific salmon and their rivers, a donation of $5,000. The Boathouse Restaurants also generously offered to be the official wine sponsor of the 2007 Vancouver Dinner & Auction. The Best of the West Coast festival continues to run annually at all Boathouse Restaurants in support of the Pacific Salmon Foundation.
